The world is ablaze

It's the end of the world as we know it

Well, I have failed spectacularly at maintaining a weekly blog. I am going to do my utmost to update with interesting things every week from here on. I just found myself absolutely overwhelmed by world issues, work issues and personal issues.

Long story short, I moved houses, got back to work at the salon, and then the West Coast caught on fire.

Here we are on the brink of many changes. I feel that I no longer want to participate in regular social media, so using my website and blog as an outlet seems to make sense. I don't want to feel like I "have" to do anything. I just want to share my journey through the amazing world of hair and hairdressing. I think that this is one of the best ways to do that. So, I am making a renewed vow of giving people something to read each week. That should help me to set a path for continued learning and discovery that I can share with whomever my wish to read.

I also need to get back into sharing online via YouTube. I have been very remiss in this aspect. If the whole world is jumping online, due to not being able to go outside much, I have an audience just waiting for my information. I need to create a theme for my channel. I think it will be focused on hair history and vintage hair styles. That seems to be my happy space. I am sure I can educate about color and other themes when I become a full-fledged educator for Matrix. Until then, I would like to continue presenting vintage hair and history. Now to make that happen.

I am still in a bit of a floating state, trying to settle in to my new home, my new salon, my new job titles, it is a lot that I am working toward. Once I can get to a standard schedule, then I can get to regular content creation. I have got to find my little spark again.

Here is to new beginnings and continuing to do me.
